In December 2020, FMCSA hosted a second series of live informational webinars to help users understand the requirements for the Clearinghouse. Clearinghouse Registration: Instructional Job Aids Available

Authorized users can register in the Clearinghouse.

Instructional job aids are available for:

Employers, C/TPAs, MROs, and SAPs can also invite users to complete required actions in the Clearinghouse on their behalf. These users would register as Clearinghouse Assistants.

Employers: Do you have an FMCSA Portal account? Follow these instructions to make sure you have the correct Clearinghouse Portal user role before you register.

Query Plans Now Available for Purchase

Employers of CDL drivers can now purchase a query plan. Purchasing a query plan enables employers, and their designated consortia/third-party administrators (C/TPAs), to query the Clearinghouse for information on potential and currently employed drivers. All queries require driver consent.

Query plans may be purchased only on the FMCSA Clearinghouse website by registered employers. Visit https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/query/plan to learn more. C/TPAs may not purchase query plans on behalf of an employer.
