New Learning Center, Email Archive

On November 24, 2025, 2025, the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse was updated with the following:

  • Enhanced Learning Center to make it easier for new Clearinghouse users to find instructions the actions they take in the Clearinghouse.
  • Clearinghouse News page, including a new email and announcement archive and easier access to Clearinghouse Monthly Summary Reports.
Enhanced Learning Center

FMCSA has created a library of materials to help users understand how to use the Clearinghouse to complete required actions, such as querying drivers, responding to consent requests, and reporting violations. Over time, that library has grown. To help you sort through the extensive list of materials to find exactly what you need, we have re-designed the Learning Center. You now have two options for finding materials: learning paths, and the Resource Library.

Learning paths allow you to select your user role, then see a breakdown of all the materials available for the role by topic area. The learning path also includes a brief description of each download to help new Clearinghouse users understand how to use the Clearinghouse to meet their regulatory requirements.

The Resource Library gives you, at a glance, the full list of all the Clearinghouse materials available.

News Page and Archives

To better feature recent information and updates, we have created a new Clearinghouse News webpage. This page allows users to access a new archive of all emails that have been sent to Clearinghouse subscriber lists, and any announcements we post to the website.

A highlights” section at the top of the page features the most recent emails and announcements.

Just below the highlights is a section that features data from the six most recent Clearinghouse Monthly Summary Reports. Users can also download the full report and access an archive of all previous monthly reports.
