Are you currently enrolled in a CDL training program?
Driver-trainees enrolled in independent training programs must register in the Clearinghouse as student drivers and designate a consortium/third-party administrator (C/TPA). See resources for Student Drivers for instructions.

Consent Requests
Drivers must provide consent before an employer can view their Clearinghouse record. Failing to consent to a query will result in a driver being prohibited from performing safety-sensitive functions, such as operating a commercial motor vehicle (CMV), for the employer requesting the consent.

Violations and the RTD Process
A driver with a drug and alcohol program violation is prohibited from performing safety-sensitive functions, including operating a CMV, for any DOT-regulated employer until they have completed the return-to-duty process.
