Clearinghouse Monthly Summary Report Redesigned

FMCSA has published a Clearinghouse Monthly Summary Report since May of 2020. This report includes a snapshot of data recorded in the Clearinghouse, including information on the statuses of drivers with Clearinghouse violations, the number and types of violations entered, substances identified in positive drug tests, and queries conducted.

In early 2026, six years after the Clearinghouse was launched, the Clearinghouse Team reevaluated the format of this report. This was an extensive process that included the following actions:

  • Revised the methods used to extract and process data to ensure accuracy.
  • Identified areas to highlight data trends.
  • Reorganized the presentation of data to focus on current priorities and interest areas.
  • Updated the format of the final report from PDF to a “live” webpage to improve readability and accessibility. The web version can also be saved as a PDF.

Note: Readers may notice some slight disparities between the annual totals in the 2026 reports and the previous reports. This is due to improved accuracy in 2026 based on using the revised data extraction methods mentioned above.
