Are your clients using the Clearinghouse?

C/TPAs: Are your clients registered?

According to the April 2021 Clearinghouse Summary Report, there are more than 237,000 employers registered in the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse. Are your clients among them?

Registering for the Clearinghouse is a regulatory requirement of employers of CDL drivers. These employers must also conduct queries annually on all CDL drivers they employ, and when hiring a new CDL driver.

Help Your Clients Meet Their Requirements

You can help FMCSA-regulated employers you work with stay in compliance with FMCSA regulations. Consider sharing the materials below with them and encouraging them to register and get started in the Clearinghouse.

Note: If you have an agreement with an employer to access the Clearinghouse on their behalf, either to conduct queries or report violations, the employer will first need to designate you in the Clearinghouse. Download instructions to complete these actions below.

These materials and more are also available in the Clearinghouse Learning Center.
