From 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, January 13 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 17, 2021, GEORGIA commercial driver’s licenses (CDLs) may not be verified in the Clearinghouse, due to scheduled system maintenance with the Georgia Commercial Driver License Information System (CDLIS). If this prevents an employer from conducting required pre-employment queries for information on GEORGIA CDL- and CLP-holders only, the employer may hire a driver using solely the procedures set forth in 49 CFR 391.23(e), as outlined in the frequently asked questions.
